BlastTex / Service area

Based in Hurst. Serving DFW, North Texas and Projects Across Texas.

A fully equipped mobile crew, with travel priced in writing.

BlastTex arrives fully equipped with shot blasters, HEPA dust collectors, a generator, a sweeper and scrubbers, so there is nothing for you to rent, power or set up. We are built to serve towns without a local prep contractor or equipment rental yard.

Your zone is set by driving miles from Hurst (76053), and we confirm it on your written proposal. A larger floor carries a smaller travel cost per square foot, because travel costs about the same for a small or large project. More than 100 miles out? Travel questions

Do you serve smaller towns?

Yes. BlastTex is mobile and brings everything required. Within about 3 to 4 hours of Hurst is our regular range, and larger projects anywhere in Texas are welcome. Send photos and your city, and we will tell you what the trip costs before you commit.

How is travel priced?

By driving miles from Hurst (76053). Within 50 miles, there’s no travel charge. From 51 to 100 miles, the travel fee is $425 per round trip, and from 101 to 150 miles it’s $650. Past 150 miles, travel and lodging are quoted per job. Every travel charge is on your written proposal, and commercial jobs within 50 miles get a free site walk.

Do I need to provide power or rent anything?

No. We haul the shot blasters, HEPA dust extractors, our own generator, and our sweeping and scrubbing equipment in our own trailer. If there’s building power near the work area, tell us on the quote form.

Is a bigger job a better deal when you travel?

Usually. Travel costs about the same whether the floor is 2,000 or 20,000 square feet, so on a large floor it’s a much smaller share of the total. Grouping several areas or buildings into one trip helps too.

Is my town on your list?

If it isn’t listed, ask anyway. These are examples, not limits. Text your city and a few photos to 817-600-8452.
