BlastTex / For contractors

Your Surface Preparation Partner: Floors Ready Before Your Crew Arrives

We prep. You stripe. You coat.

You win the project. We prepare the surface to spec, remove existing markings and leave the floor clean, ahead of your schedule, nights and weekends included. Striping contractors, epoxy, polyaspartic and polyurea installers, and general contractors hire BlastTex to handle the concrete preparation. We don’t sell or install coatings or striping, so your client relationship remains yours.

Large floors: we bring the ride-on shot blaster, phase the work around your operation and add help when the project requires it.

Contractor responsibilities: coating and striping installation, crack repair, moisture testing and final surface acceptance. When a floor needs degreasing, repair or testing, BlastTex schedules its work around the companies that provide those services.

Contractor questions

Do you stripe or coat floors?

No. BlastTex provides surface preparation and cleaning only. We do not sell or install coatings or striping, so we never compete with you for the finish work.

Can you achieve the CSP our coating requires?

Yes, when the spec or product data sheet is provided, we prep to the profile it names, with edges ground where the blaster can’t reach, and we check the finished profile against ICRI reference chips. Final acceptance of the surface stays with you as the installer.

Can you work nights, weekends, or in an active facility?

Yes. We plan around forklift and foot traffic, shutdown windows, and phased work zones, and we work ahead of your crew so you can start on schedule.

Do you have insurance and paperwork for our files?

BlastTex carries commercial general liability insurance, and we provide a certificate of insurance and a W-9 on request. We are not bonded; if your project requires a bond, tell us when you request a proposal.

How do you bill contractors?

Every proposal includes a project-specific payment schedule. Depending on project size and scope, a mobilization payment before we mobilize and progress billing during the work may apply. Approved commercial accounts may qualify for established billing terms after a credit review. Beyond 50 miles of Hurst, the travel fee is paid when the project is scheduled unless you have an approved account.

Will you travel to projects outside DFW?

Yes. Our regular range is about 3 to 4 hours from Hurst, and larger projects anywhere in Texas are welcome. Travel is a set fee by distance zone and is listed on your written proposal. See where we work.

Full terms are on your written proposal.
